P & C
The Australia Street Infants School Parents and Citizens' Association (Australia Street P&C) is the representative body for parents and carers. We work with the school to make our the school the best place it can be for our children.
The P&C is a great way to get involved in the life of the school and everyone is welcome. We look forward to seeing you at a meeting or at one of our fundraising events.
P&C meetings give parents, carers and the school the opportunity to collaborate and share information.
The Australia Street P&C meets on the last Wednesday of the month at 7pm in the library. There are no meetings during school holidays.
We hold a range of fundraising events throughout the year to raise money to purchase extra resources for the school.
Funded projects include:
- active white boards
- a school water tank
- fans and blinds for the classrooms
- home readers and literary magazines
- sensory tools and resources
- upgrading the teachers' break space.
- solar panels
- playground upgrade
This year we are raising money to create a maker space and purchase science, technology, engineering, arts and maths resources.
If you would like to help out with a fundraising event, or would like to discuss sponsorship arrangements please email email@example.com.
